Shoes fit for a queen!
It's not everyday one turns 90 years old. As a special honor for Queen Elizabeth II, whose 90th birthday is April 21, U.K.-based shoe company Aruna Seth has created the ultimate Union Jack heels.

Fashioned after the red,
white and blue British flag, the limited edition, hand-crafted footwear
features almost 3,000 Swarovski crystals, a wedge heel and a sexy peep
toe.
Only 10 pairs of the pumps exist and will sell for £2,000 apiece (roughly $2,870) beginning on Her Majesty's big day.
While the flashy shoes have been created with queen
and country in mind, Elizabeth II herself isn't one to wear anything
other than solid, closed-toe heels. In a recent picture of the four
generations of royals released by Kensington Palace on Tuesday, April
19, she opted for a more demure, black patent style.
As her birthday nears, the longest reigning monarch in
England has also been honored by family members, including her oldest
grandson, Prince William.
Speaking at a garden party on April 11 in India celebrating
her nine decades, the 33-year-old Duke of Cambridge said, "I am
incredibly lucky to have my grandmother in my life. As she turns 90, she
is a remarkably energetic and dedicated guiding force for her family.
He cheekily added, "She may be my grandmother, but she is also very much
the boss!"
