A gay man has been beaten to a pulp for a PDA with partner in Miami Beach.
Jordan Schaeffer was at Burger King 1101 Washington Avenue on March 14 and had just shared a kiss when a man approached him in the line, picked him up and slammed him on the ground, followed with a hit and a kick.

Miami Police are calling the horrific attack – which has been viewed by thousands – a hate crime and are on the look-out for the suspect in the video.
‘It was just a simple kiss with my boyfriend,’ Schaeffer told the authorities; ‘Then right after that kiss, I started walking over and that’s when I was approached by this gentleman’.
The man said to him: ‘Why don’t you show if you’re tough or not you little faggot’
Schaeffer asserts his attacker was at an advantage as he fought him like he had martial arts training ‘because of the way he was picked up and slammed to the ground’.
The 25 year-old said:
‘It all happened so fast once I got slammed to the ground. It’s just kind of a blur’
‘We’re in 2016 and especially in a city like Miami Beach, where I thought being homosexual would be pretty accepted, it’s just not right that anyone should suffer.’
Miami police released a video footage of the fight at Burger Kng in a bid to catch the assailant. A statement read:
‘Two men, both 25 and from Los Angeles, were in the bar and were kissing when they were confronted by two other men. The other two men began using derogatory words toward them and called them f—ots, according to an incident report.
An intense fight ensued that ended with one of the victims suffering lacerations to his face, police. Footage showed two of the men fighting and rolling around on the ground as customers scattered from the area’.
It was Schaeffer’s first time in Miami Beach and unfortunately he didn’t leave with a good impression.
