The terrorist leader who is believed to have been edged out by some elements within the terrorist group who saw his tactics as being too violent and was seen as doing more harm than good in endearing the group to people, has released a new video where he assured his followers that he still alive.
Shekau who spoke in Arabic for most part of the video, did not cut the angry, bloodthirsty maniac yelling “kill,kill,kill ” in grainy videos, common in the heydays of the terrorist group.
But more remarkably he apologised for some of the insurgent group’s actions. According to him he has listened to the plea from true believers. He subsequently ended the speech with: “May God forgive us our sins.”
