Oprah Winfrey's 'daughter-girls' graduate college

Oprah Winfrey is having a whirlwind college graduation weekend.
The former daytime talk show host has been busy attending commencement events for the first group of college grads among her "daughter-girls,"  who are alumnae of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.....

Winfrey posted Sunday on Instagram that was a "Proud Happy Day" in a caption accompanying photos of her with three of the young women: Tabitha Ramotwala, who graduated Sunday morning from Mount Holyoke in Massachusetts, and Noluthando “Thando” Dlomo and Nompumelelo “Mpumi” Nobiva, who graduated the same morning from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte. Mount Holyoke commencement-related activities started Saturday. Winfrey's post indicated her college tour was not over. "Congratulations to my beautiful and brilliant 'daughter-girls,'" she wrote, adding "Now onto Spelman!"

Winfrey received an honorary doctorate from JCSU and was the commencement speaker Sunday morning.  During her speech, she cited Maya Angelou saying, "Your crown has been paid for and your No. 1 job is to put it on your head and wear it."
