REGGAE PRESENTERS CELEBRATE BOB MARLEY

Reggae presenters and DJs in Lagos will be celebrating late reggae music icon Robert Nesta Marley who passed away on May 11, 1981. Bob Marley as he was popularly known passed away in a Miami hospital exactly one month after receiving Jamaica’s Order of Merit, one of the country’s highest honours.....

Come Saturday May 28th, veteran reggae music DJ and On Air talent Daddy Faizer also known as Dfaizer of Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1FM will be putting up a reggae dance as a way of giving back to reggae lovers. He would be joined by Women 91.7FM (RockerZ) presenter Empress HayJay, Rhythm 93.7FM/Ital Sound’s Covenant Child while another veteran DJ King Brownman, owner and operator of A1 Sound System will be the guest selector.
A large turnout of reggae fans is expected at this yearly event due to the participation of two other reggae presenters at the event. It’s a no fee paying show but fans are being advised to dress to impress and add a touch of the ital colours of ‘red, gold & green’. The Red Carpet for the event tagged ‘Four The Hard Way’ will be anchored by Tushbee OAP 89.7EKO FM and event columnist at Happenings Magazine will kick off at 8.00pm. Dfaizer has promised fans ‘Everything Reggae’ from Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae to Dub, Dancehall & Ragga!
