Arsenio Hall Sues Sinead O’Connor for $5 Million Over Her Claims He Provided Prince With Drugs, Spiked Her

Arsenio Hall and Sinead O'Connor

Not backing down. Arsenio Hall filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against Sinead O’Connor on Thursday, May 5, after the Irish singer accused the former late-night TV host in a Facebook post of supplying Prince with drugs and allegedly drugging her in the past.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the lawsuit states that O’Connor, 49, is “well known for her media antics and for seeking attention through inflammatory Facebook posts.” continue......

The drama began when O’Connor — who has dealt with mental health issues — alleged that Hall gave drugs to Prince, who wrote O’Connor’s massive 1990 hit “Nothing Compares 2 U.”

"Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades.… Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's bitch) Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land," the Grammy winner, 49, wrote on her Facebook account on Monday, May 2.

The former chart-topper then went on to say that Hall once “spiked” her at a party held at Eddie Murphy’s home.

"Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County [Sheriff's] office,” she added. “Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie [Murphy's] house. You best get tidying your man cave."

At the time, a rep for Hall told Us that O'Connor's comments are "absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd."
A rep for Sinead O’Connor has not yet responded to Us Weekly’s request for comment.
