I was arrested for being a Boko Haram leader – Asari Dokubo

A former President of  Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) and leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, who was arrested last week in Republic of Benin, has accused those opposed to the second term ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan of masterminding his arrest.
Asari, who apparently betrayed emotion on arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja,  Friday night, also said he was arrested and interrogated by Benin officials over an allegation from Nigeria that he is a leader of Boko Haram.
Speaking to journalists at the airport, he also described as lies the report that Jonathan sent a presidential jet to fly him into Nigeria from Benin.
His words: “Crisis is normal, it can also happen here in Nigeria, it can happen anywhere in the world. The people and government of Republic of Benin have no problem with me.
But if people alleged that somebody is a leader of Boko Haram, the government of that country will investigate the person.
”The allegation has much to do with 2015 because when you read comments on social media, you find out that people who are against President Goodluck Jonathan said they should vilify me, and make sure I die before 2015.
But they are not going to succeed. I am not going to die. I will be present in 2015, and I will do what I am going to do to ensure that Jonathan wins in 2015. There is nothing they can do about it. This is their last fight and it is so unfortunate that the way they are going with show how immature they are.
“I just arrived from Cotonou. I drove in my car from Cotonou to Lagos airport where I boarded a flight to Abuja. The report is not true. No presidential jet was sent to me.
”I do business in Cotonou, and I have been living in Cotonou since 2008. Politically, people who are in Nigeria are trying to fabricate lies, which are not variable, and send it to Republic of Benin government. So I was taken for interrogation and they found that the allegations were false, and I was promptly released with over 20 of my staff who were also taken in.”
The former warlord, however, said his arrest was a blessing in disguise as he had an opportunity of meeting with officials of Benin after his interrogation. “I have met with the top and powerful people in Republic of Benin. Since I went to that country, I have never had any reason to meet with their government officials, but this crisis has made it possible for me to meet with all top government functionaries of the Republic of Benin. The crisis has raised my profile in that country.”
Asked whether President Jonathan intervened to secure his release, he said: “It is not just only President Jonathan that intervened, Nigerians generally intervened. The number of people that came into Cotonou the day I was taken in, and the following day, were over one thousand.”

PATIENCE OZOKWOR

This is my advice for all Ladies and myself....... I'm
sorry If it will annoy you but it's
the Truth, you really have to take
correction now. Dear ladies,
Firstly, if you are still struggling to
find a husband at an old age because you are
looking for a
perfect man, Something is wrong
with you, Sorry to say that but it's
true. Your propaganda magazine
tells you that 'All men are liars,
cheats and useless, but let’s be honest here,
which is more likely?.
Is it that there’s something wrong
with about 70million African men,
OR there is
something wrong with one African
Woman?.Ladies, you certainly will not get into
a blissful matrimony if
you are always hanging out with
your so called girlfriends every
night at a beer palour or bar and
waiting for a guy to buy you a drink
and take you home. Drinking yourself to
stupor every Friday and
Saturday nights does
not exactly make you look like a
marriage material. You
want a man?. Invest in a good
wardrobe, and dress responsibly. When a man
comes to you, smile
and be polite, even if he does
not fit your mental image of your
kind of man. Ladies please and
please, stop going into a
relationship with a chip on your shoulder. If
you believe all men are
bad and all men are Dogs, then it
will become a self fulfilling
prophesy.
No man is perfect!. Even you!.
You say you can't marry a blue collar guy like
a mechanic or
carpenter. If a carpenter was good
enough to marry MARY THE MOTHER
OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST", why
isn't one good enough for you?. Do
not focus on where a man is now, but look
and see where he has the
potentials to be. What’s
the point of being beaten to a pulp
every night by some rich, good
looking and non caring man?. Do
you want a future where you will sit in a
traffic in your car with
sunglasses covering your swollen
eyes, you look out of the window
and see a happy couple in a Tuk Tuk
holding hands and laughing like
newly wedded couple even after 12 years of
marriage.
Please don’t fake pregnancy or get
pregnant to trap him. Your perfect
man is out there, believe, work and
pray and you will get him.
THINK ABOUT IT!

Big Girl Caught Nakéd "Doing It" With Her Sister's Boyfriend

Some ladies just know how to disgrace themselves. I hear this lady has been sleeping with her sister's lover in her house whenever the elder sister, a trader, is not around. But she got more than she bargained for recently as she and the guy slept off after a "hot round" inside the guy's car nakéd.

The sister returned from her shop late and noticed her guy's car far from their gate under a tree. She went close only to see her own younger sister and her boyfriend snoring on top each other, without their clothes.
The elder sister went mad...

FIFA Under 17 World cup: Arsenal Confirm Interest In Kelechi Iheanacho

Arsenal’s interest in Nigerian under 17 international Kelechi Iheanacho has been confirmed, according to the player’s agent. Iheanacho was given the most valuable player award at this month’s FIFA U17 World Cup, of which his team convincingly won.

The 17-year-old caught the attention of Arsenal chief scout Steve Rowley when he scored four goals in a single game against Mexico, the same team they’d go on to face – and beat – in the final, 3-0.
Arsenal have used the tournament to scout talent in the past, signing Cesc Fabregas and Carlos Vela off the back of the tournament in 2003 and 2005 respectively.
Iheanacho’s agent Henry Galeano exclusively told Adrian Back and IBTimes.co.uk: “I can confirm that Arsenal FC’s Steve Rowley, acknowledged Kelechi Iheanacho’s talents early in the World Cup and has said some very nice words about him.

“We’re ecstatic to have another major club like Arsenal following young Iheanacho. That said, the attention is well deserved. Iheanacho’s performance at the World Cup was indeed remarkable.
“Iheanacho has consistently shown good form and the statistics throughout his career as a Youth player with the Nigerian National Team, are quite impressive. Even during the World Cup qualifications in Morocco, Iheanacho was the second highest goal-scorer.

“At present we are considering and evaluating all options. Our goal is to match Iheanacho with a club that fits his profile, and a club that can bring out the very best in him.
“If Arsenal F.C. is an option on the table, we’ll be glad to sit down and consider it. Iheanacho wouldn’t be the first Nigerian making it into the team. The thought of him following in the footsteps of the great Kanu definitely has a nice ring to it.”

The attacking midfielder, who is also reportedly wanted by Manchester United and Chelsea, contributed six goals in seven games for his side at the tournament as well as seven assists.
Upon winning the World Cup, Iheanacho told FIFA.com: “I feel good, I feel good, I feel good! I thank God because I feel so good. I don’t know if I can find the words to say what I’m actually feeling. I can’t even tell what I’m feeling because I’m feeling a millions things at the same time. I am feeling love for my teammates and my family and my country. I feel all of it. I’m on a high for winning the World Cup and the Golden Ball (best player).”

MICHAEL JACKSON'S "MOONWALKING" BACKSLIDING

The moonwalk is a dance technique that presents the illusion of the dancer being pulled backwards while attempting to walk forward. A popping move, it became popular around the world after Michael Jackson executed the dance move during a performance of "Billie Jean" on Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever on March 25, 1983. This special was broadcast May 16, 1983.It subsequently became his signature.
 Technique
An illusion is involved in creating the appearance of the dancer gliding backwards. Initially, the front foot is held flat on the ground, while the back foot is in a tiptoe position. The flat front foot remains on the ground but is slid lightly and smoothly backward past the tip-toe back foot. What is now the front foot is lowered flat, while the back foot is raised into the tiptoe position. These steps are repeated over and over creating the illusion that the dancer is being pulled backwards by an unseen force while trying to walk forward. Variations of this move allow the moon walking to also appear to glide forwards, sideways, and even in a circle.

MISS ENERI IDAWN, "The winner of Toyota Nig beauty contest"

Yes, this lady cart away the wholesome price of N7.5 million naira at he just concluded Toyota beauty contest last weekend.  Of course a bigger contest is still a head.  The promoters of 8th West African beauty contest 'Ozone" has already giving Miss Eneri a ticket for that event come December, 7th 2013. congrats.

Fantastic story learned by an anthropologist from a group of African kids.

"An anthropologist proposed a game to children in an African tribe. He put a basket full of fruit near a tree and told the children that whoever got there first won the sweet fruits. When he told them to run, they all took each others hands and ran together, then sat together enjoying their treats.

When he asked them why they had run like that when one could have had all the fruits for himself, they said, ‘UBUNTU, how can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad?’ (‘UBUNTU’ in the Xhosa culture means: ‘I am because we are.)”

Signature targets

U.S. officials said that Obama approved the use of “signature” strikes  The expanded authority will allow the CIA and JSOC to fire on targets based solely on their intelligence “signatures” — patterns of behavior that are detected through signals intercepts, human sources and aerial surveillance, and that indicate the presence of an important operative or a plot against U.S. interests.

Until now, the administration had allowed strikes only against known terrorist leaders who appear on secret CIA and JSOC target lists and whose location can be confirmed.
For eight years, the United States has conducted but never formally acknowledged a program to kill terrorists associated with Al Qaeda and the Taliban away from the battlefield in Afghanistan. Using drones, the Central Intelligence Agency has made 320 strikes in Pakistan since 2004, killing 2,560 or more people, including at least 139 civilians. Another 55 st

Keshi: How Eaglets can become Super Eagles

Super Eagles boss, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi has heaped praises on players and members of the technical crew of the Golden Eaglets for making the nation proud at the just concluded U-17 World Cup championship in the United Arab Emirates.
“I’m particularly proud of the coaching crew, because, they again, showed that some of the best coaches are from Africa. I hail the Minister and the NFF for providing an absolute conducive environment for the team and we hope it will continue to be like that all the times.
Keshi then spoke on how he thinks members of the U-17 national team can get into the Super Eagles, which he heads. To him, there should be a gradual push for the boys towards the main national team, even as he insisted that age has got nothing to do with the players getting into the Super Eagles.
“I will want the players to take the natural route of maturity, play for the Flying Eagles, then maybe the U-23 and then we can start looking at them. During that period we may find one or two of them that can make impact in the national team and we will not hesitate to invite them,” he said.
“Once again I say kudos to Coach Manu Garba, Emmanuel Amunike, Nduka Ugbade and Emeka Amadi, they have really helped to strengthen the credentials of the Nigerian coaches and made us proud, not only, as a nation, but as a group and also in the profession, may such things continue to happen to Nigerian football,” Keshi prayed.

NIGERIA 3 : 0 MEXICO

The Golden Eaglets are back in  the spotlight again after beating Mexico 3-0 to win the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates  for  the fourth time – the first in the history of the tournament that began in China in 1985.
Incidentally, Nduka Ugbade, who assisted coach Manu Garba to with the UAE 2013 title, lifted  the trophy at China ’85 as  captain of the team.
Friday’s triumph  in the United Arab Emirates caps a successful year for Nigeria after the Super Eagles  won the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa on February 10.
And the country only need a draw to seal their place at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil – meaning it has been a good year for Nigerian football.
The UAE success seems to suggest that Nigeria are  on the path of reclaiming their lost glory at the cadet levels. The Eaglets were second best at the Nigeria 2009 finals after they won the tournament in South Korea two years earlier. Rather than building on the 2009 performance, Nigeria failed to qualifier for the 2011 edition of the championship in Mexico.
Nigeria hit their lowest point in the fast-fading  year when  the Flying Eagles crashed out in the quarterfinals of Turkey 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
But Nigerians have cause to look into the future with hope following the Eaglets’ triumph  on Friday.
The team emerged as the best attacking side with 26 goals. Nigeria had three players in the top scorer’s chart with Kelechi Iheanacho netting six times to come second behind Sweden’s Valmir Berisha with seven goals. Taiwo Awoniyi  hit the back of the net four times and captain Musa Mohammed  thrice.
Iheanacho won the Golden Ball while goalkeeper Dele Alampasu picked the Golden Gloves. Nigeria also won the Fair Play award.
In  Iheanacho, who has been linked with Premier League giants Arsenal, Nigeria could be said to be on the verge of throwing up a player that could grab the world’s attention again.
Former Super Eagles captain Nwankwo Kanu, who watched the final,   began to hit the headlines immediately he joined Dutch giants Ajax after helping Nigeria win  the Under-17 title at Japan ’93. Two years later he won the UEFA Champions League with the side.
With Emmanuel Emenike appearing to be the only reliable striker in the Eagles, coach Stephen Keshi  will be  to looking in the direction of Iheanacho for future tournaments.
Mohammed, Awoniyi,Yahaya,  Isaac Success, Sam Okon , Abdullahi   Alfa and Chidiebere Nwakali and Alampasu are players capable of pulling the strings for Nigeria in the future if properly managed through the Under-20 and Under-23  to the senior level.

The Main Reason Why Many Ladies End Up Single

Courtesy: olufamous
The information (9 points) you will read below will help your life in many ways if you can apply them with wisdom:
1. Many African ladies will end up singles for life because of media exposure-
it is so disheartening how a lady will glue her eyes on a mobile phone from morning to night, only to raise it up to focus on television to watch another celebrity entertainment channel. Tell, what else will dominate this lady's mindset aside how to live a fake celebrity life being promoted on television channels?

2. Many African ladies now dislike cooking and home chores-
just because they have been brainwashed by movies showcasing men playing the role of women in a family, and due to excessive exposure to modern media that promotes gender-equality in a destructive way that's aimed at destroying the unique African family setting that made our previous African marriages everlasting and envious to the westerns. Now, with this attitude, how do you expect a African man to desire to marry when he knows he is only buying more headache and trouble than helper for himself?

NIGERIA U17 FIFA WORLD CUP - Kelechi Iheanacho hopes to land the big one against Mexico

The playmaker has been in his elements in the UAE and hit four goals against Mexico in the opener
Kelechi Iheanacho was the chief protagonist for the Golden Eaglets in their 6-1 demolition of Mexico in their first match at the Fifa U-17 World Cup in the UAE and could settle the final game in Nigeria's favour because of that fear factor
“I’m sure they won’t feel great about that first result,” Iheanacho told fifa.com after beating Sweden in Dubai in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
“They’ll want to put pressure on us and we’ll have to be careful. We’ll respect them, but it’s hard to go against us when we’re playing our good football.
“It doesn’t matter in our team who scores the goals, who finishes top scorer or top player,” he added.
Though he acknowledges that the Mexicans will be better prepared for this second meeting, Iheanacho said the Eaglets are better than when they met on October 19 at the Al Ain Stadium.
“We’ve got better since that opener,” he said.
“We’ve become closer and we’re going to chase them all over the field; we’re going to press them with our attackers and we won’t rest.
"We’ll go at them for 90 minutes until we’re sure the trophy is ours.”
Iheanacho, who has scored five goals and created seven in this tournament, believes he is both adept at creating and scoring goals.
“It’s not important to call yourself one or the other. If I’m in a good position to score then I’m happy to put the ball in the back of the net, but if I’m not, and I see someone in a better position, I’ll give it to him.
"It doesn’t matter in our team who scores the goals, who finishes top scorer or top player. It’s a collective effort," he concluded.
