AN unnamed Qatar Stars League outfit are exploring ways to
sign Odion Ighalo from Watford in the summer. Odion Ighalo The club based in the Persian
Gulf are willing to pay 13 million euros transfer fee to the Hornets and will
offer the Nigeria international striker a four-year contract. Should the
Watford number 24 agree to move to Qatar, he is set for a bumper payday as he
will earn €5 million per season, meaning that he will pocket €20 million
(equivalent of N7.2 billion in Nigerian currency) at the end of his contract.
Watford are ready to cash-in on Odion Ighalo in the summer but no bid has been
received, with Nigeria youth international Isaac Success of Granada lined up as
a possible replacement. The 26-year-old has been linked with possible moves to
West Ham, Everton and Chelsea ahead of the opening of the transfer window.
